SCRIBAL EVANGELIST As the only living certified Soferet (סופרת - female Jewish ritual scribe) & the first woman to practice sofrut (creation of sacred Hebrew texts) in over 200 years, I feel an obligation to blog about my experiences of The Work. ...who I mentioned earlier in my blog during my stay in Israel, was recently interviewed for NPR & I also caught him a while back on PBS. I just read this article of his. I'm still chewing it over. That's what I appreciate about him - processing his words requires time & thought.
