SCRIBAL EVANGELIST As the only living certified Soferet (סופרת - female Jewish ritual scribe) & the first woman to practice sofrut (creation of sacred Hebrew texts) in over 200 years, I feel an obligation to blog about my experiences of The Work. Isn't he fascinating? I love the bit where he describes how he'll restore a Torah only if there's absolutely no-one in the community who'll let him teach them how to do it. So principled!

I wonder why it's so hard for him to find someone willing to learn from him? I would LOVE to!
